Welcome to our junior football section which is
now in its 15th year. The section provides a safe environment and
all the facilities required to permit the playing and coaching of
junior football for children from Reception to Year 5. |
Although there are no league games played, we do
encourage the children to join local clubs to complement the
coaching received at Brooklands. Occasionally, we play friendly
fixtures against local teams. Watch out for those and support your
team!
We also encourage the children to take part in
other sports available at the club. Your membership subscription
allows participation in all sports for a full year.
To those joining us again for another year,
welcome back, and good luck for the new season. Those children and
parents coming down for the first time, we wish you a warm welcome
to Brooklands, and hope you enjoy the football!

When?
Every
Sunday until 30th March, 2008 from 10.00a.m. to
11.30 a.m.

Enrolment
To enrol,
please complete a Brooklands Sports Club application form,
and return the completed form and £25 fee (for Reception) or
£30 fee (for Years 1-6) by cash/cheque to the football
section. If paying by cheque, please make payable to
Brooklands Sports Club. We also request a £6 fee cash/cheque
payable to Brooklands Dragons Junior FC. This will increase
to £10 for forms returned after 30th October.
There are no other charges or weekly subscriptions for the
year.

There are now
7 F.A. Level 1 qualified coaches (all are parents).
Parents are
encouraged to volunteer to help out, and anyone willing to take the
F.A. Level 1 coaching course, please see Joe Brown.
