Car park opening

We are pleased to be able to inform you that we have made arrangements for the main car park to be available for members to park their cars with effect from this Saturday 27th June. We have agreed this with DW Sports on the understanding that we can maintain security. We will be responsible for the opening and closing of the gates and this will be done by a group of volunteers. In order to get this system to work for all concerned we are going to try to have the gates open at times to match the main usage times. The opening times will be as follows:

• Saturday: Open 9.00 am; Close 6.00pm
• Sunday: Open 9.00am; Close 5.00pm
• Monday to Thursday: Open 3.00pm; Close 9.15pm 
• Friday: Open 2.00pm; Close 9.15pm

Members are asked to use alternate bays in the car park to maintain social distancing, and also to please note the closing times which must be adhered to. Cars not removed by the specific time will be locked in. The volunteers will not be expected to chase up stragglers. It will require the full cooperation of all our members if this system is to operate properly. 

We are all going to have to learn by experience with this situation. We will review things after the first 2 weeks of operation, after which we can then take another look at the opening hours and method of operation.

Please can you also ensure that you bring your membership card, wristband or key fob and are able to produce it on request. As useage increases we will need to control access carefully and proof of membership must therefore be carried at all times.
